About Us

We are based at Manor Road Scarborough, a member of Scarborough and District Bowling Association.

Subscription fees for the 2021 season have been reduced for new members, enquires to the Club Secretary

A once and only £12.00 B.C.G.B.A. registration fee is also payable for all new members.
A green fee of £2.00 per session to visitors

News and Events

With all Crown Green Bowling leagues cancelled this year due to the Pandemic, one of the positives to come from this is the clubs like Borough Bowling Club on Manor Road have had time to concentrate on their annual Club Cups.  Normally Borough would play a club cup over one day, but this year they have had time to spread the competition over a full week. This has also resulted in much bigger entries and some top quality bowling. This week Borough played their last competition of the year with the Nalton Mixed Pairs which was played as two man teams.

Club History

Borough Bowling Club was founded in 1905.

It is the oldest surviving crown green club on Yorkshire’s east coast and its green on Manor Road, opened in 1902, is the oldest of its kind in the area.
